Warrior Dash/ Albuquerque Trip

This past weekend, my sister and I drove to Albuquerque for the Warrior Dash. Well, Jennie was the only actually attempting the Warrior Dash. I was going for emotional support, and to be her official photographer. The race is crazy! It's about 3 miles long, but don't let the distance fool you. This race is no laughing matter. For one, those 3 miles are all on rolling hills and tough terrain. On top of this, the whole race is full of obstacles: boot-camp style obstacles. Jennie had to climb over walls, run across balance beams, climb up rope, trudge through mud, jump over fire pits, and crawl under barbed wire. This race is intense! I'll put some of the images below.

Jennie starting the race:

Jennie climbing over the cargo net wall:

Jennie crawling under barbed wire:

Jennie trudging through the mud pit:

Out of the mud pit!

After she finished, with her medal, banana, and water:

Yay for surviving!

After getting hosed-off:

I got a warrior shirt to support her:

After the race, we went with our good friend, Dona, out to her cabin in the mountains. We stopped to take some pictures at the red cliffs.
